About the role

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by performing assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and documenting nursing activities to ensure effective interdisciplinary communication. They are responsible for patient safety, medication administration following the 5 Rights, and maintaining a safe environment through safety precautions. The role involves delegating tasks to healthcare team members, conducting patient education, and responding promptly to patient needs.

Requirements

• College Diploma
• RN license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
• BLS certification
