About the role

Provides direct and indirect patient care in various healthcare settings, ensuring high-quality services through critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate communication. Collaborates with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes while preserving patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses patients based on their medical conditions.
• Administers prescribed medications and performs treatments using nursing knowledge and skills.
• Develops and evaluates patient and family teaching plans, including psychosocial support and discharge planning.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to coordinate care and assist with procedures.
• Promotes patient safety by minimizing risks and practicing cost-effective resource management.
• Prioritizes patient needs effectively and efficiently.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Computer literacy required. RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS/PALS preferred.

• Ability to perform general nursing duties, including patient education and support.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
