RN Manager - Medical Surgical

About the Role

Manages activities, workflow, and nursing resources within assigned units, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Hire, train, develop, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care delivery.
• Develop and implement policies for efficient health service delivery.
• Monitor and oversee budget adherence and expenditures.
• Maintain a safe, alert work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
• Two years' RN experience with leadership responsibilities or one year RN plus one year leadership experience.
• Physical ability to perform lifting, standing, walking, and repetitive movements.
• Proficiency in vision, hearing, communication, and data entry.

Qualifications

• BLS certification.
• RN license valid in the respective state.
