About the Role
We are seeking a Nursing Manager to oversee the activities, workflow, and staffing of our Medical-Surgical units.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff.
- Address issues affecting patient care and develop policies for efficient service delivery.
- Monitor and manage the unit budget and expenditures.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Manage nursing resources, ensure quality patient care, and oversee staff development.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- At least two years of RN experience with leadership responsibilities, or one year of RN experience plus one year in leadership.
- Valid RN license and BLS certification in the applicable state.
Skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move objects, and perform various movements required in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to work in a vigilant, safe manner.
