About the role

A nursing leadership role that keeps you hands‑on with care while managing clinical operations at Saint Elizabeth Assisted Living, a 69‑apartment community in a restored turn‑of‑the‑century Providence building (free on‑site parking). The position blends direct‑care duties—medication administration, rounds, assessments, and non‑sterile treatments—with management responsibilities such as staff scheduling, delegation, service‑plan development, evaluations with the Director of Resident Care, and acting as the clinical decision‑maker when a resident’s status changes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide non‑sterile treatments.
• Conduct resident rounds and assessments.
• Develop and update service plans.
• Schedule staff and delegate tasks.
• Participate in evaluations with the Director of Resident Care.
• Make clinical decisions when a resident’s condition changes.
• Assist with the 24‑hour on‑call rotation.

Requirements

• Active Rhode Island RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• State medication‑administration certification.
• Comfortable providing direct care while leading staff.

$84,000+ per year
