Responsibilities
- Ensure sufficient staffing of CNAs, LPNs, and/or registered nurses for your shift to maintain quality care.
- Conduct rounds of the nursing service department to verify that all personnel are performing their duties according to acceptable nursing standards and report findings to the Director.
- Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure medications are administered as ordered and treatments are provided as scheduled.
- Review medication cards for completeness, accuracy in transcription of physician orders, and adherence to stop-order policies.
