RN/LPN Unit Manager
About the role
Lead by example, providing exceptional clinical care and oversight to our licensed nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
Foster a positive and supportive team environment, promoting collaboration, open communication, and professional development among staff members.
Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Monitor and manage the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring efficient workflows, effective resource allocation, and prioritization of tasks.
Develop and maintain effective communication channels with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and oversight to LPNs, CNAs, and other team members, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence in care delivery.
- Identify training needs, develop staff development plans, and provide support to ensure staff competence and confidence in their roles.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, including audit and compliance reviews, to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and facility policies.
- Analyze data and implement changes to improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred
Licensure: Current RN or LPN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
