About the role
The Unit Nurse Manager oversees the care management of a population of patients within an assigned area, unit, or clinical function.
Responsibilities
- Conducts the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the scope of the State's Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure.
- Captures and coordinates resource utilization, ensuring timely and appropriate care interventions.
- Interacts with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient and family satisfaction, adherence to center's clinical systems, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid RN or LPN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Must have 6 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility (LTC).
- Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
