RN Lead, OBGYN

About the role

The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is seeking a 32-hour RN Lead to support their obstetrician and gynecologist practice. The role is located at 383 Paradise Rd, Swampscott, MA and 1 Hutchinson Drive, Danvers, MA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medication to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Collaborate with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
• Demonstrate best practices for staff to follow.
• May participate on teams or perform special projects/assignments.

Requirements

• Education: Associate's Degree Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.
• Licenses and Credentials: Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required, Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred.
• Experience: Clinical Nursing Experience 2-3 years required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment.
• Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships.
• Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

Skills

• Leadership experience.
• Experience leading in another clinical specialty (preferred).
