Summary Of Role The Medical Assistant (MA) IV provides patient care under a licensed practitioner’s delegation, performing all duties of MA I-III with advanced skills in multiple complex specialty areas. Key Responsibilities: Assist in patient care, oversee clinic staff such as ambassadors, change agents, quality champions, and preceptors.Lead and support clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient services.Maintain confidentiality and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.Collaborate within a team to enhance clinic performance and patient outcomes.Serve as a leader or highly skilled technician in specialized areas. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from an accredited medical assisting program or military medical training, or completion of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship.Minimum of 3 years of clinical medical assisting experience.Experience providing high-level customer service and handling confidential data.Within 30 days of hire: BLS certification from American Heart Association.Preferred: National Medical Assistant Certification.Experience in a clinic setting, including recent work within a PSJH clinic or as a Lead MA. Additional Info: Compensation ranges from $28.93 to $44.27 per hour, with potential for extra incentives.
