Per diem position focused on providing specialized maternal care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff through in-person, phone, and written interactions.
- Provide individualized education to patients and families based on assessment outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
