About the Role
Provides comprehensive patient assessments, coordinates care plans, and ensures safe, timely interventions. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and individualizes teaching to meet learning needs. Participates in quality improvement initiatives and maintains current nursing standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and gather health data involving families and providers.
- Coordinate patient care plans to ensure appropriate interventions.
- Communicate clearly across all channels.
- Provide tailored education to patients and families.
- Engage in quality improvement activities.
- Stay updated on nursing practices, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
- Associate's or BSN from an accredited program.
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- CPR certification.
- At least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience.
