RN, Infusion (Medical Oncology/Oral Chemo)
About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to infusion patients. Responsibilities include delivering patient education, ensuring consistent monitoring, and proactively managing treatment-related side effects to promote safe and effective care outside of the clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient education for oral chemotherapy and oncology medications
- Ensure consistent monitoring of patients receiving oral chemotherapy and oncology medications
- Proactively manage treatment-related side effects to promote safe and effective care
- Develop expertise in oral chemotherapy and immunotherapy management
- Provide patient education and adherence support
- Identify and intervene in the outpatient/home setting for side effects related to treatment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and maintains required department specific licensure, competencies, and certifications
Qualifications

- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred

- Experience in the infusion care setting
- Collaborative working relationships with other healthcare professionals

Pay
$32.00 - $48.00 per hour
Sign on bonus of $2,000.00
Schedule
Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. One day off per week.
