RN, Infusion (Oncology Infusion RN)
About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to infusion patients. The role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize patient needs and the practice. The RN will perform age-related patient assessments and interventions, schedule tests and interventions according to provider orders, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients across the age continuum in the infusion care setting.
- Collaborate with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population-specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting.
- Function within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including AACN, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.

$32.00 - $48.00 per hour
Schedule
Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
