RN, Infusion (Oncology Infusion RN)
About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to infusion patients. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize patient needs. Responsibilities include performing age-related patient assessments, scheduling tests and interventions according to provider orders, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients across various age continua in the infusion care setting.
- Collaborate with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and utilize appropriate age and population-specific standards.
- Function within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including AACN, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.

Pay
$32.00 - $48.00 per hour
Schedule
Full time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
