RN Infection Control Nurse Mon-Fri Position

As an RN Infection Control Nurse Mon-Fri Position, you will contribute to the health and safety of our patients while enhancing the overall quality and safety of our facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine surveys and assessments to identify potential infection control risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures, including protocols for isolation precautions, hand hygiene, and standard precautions
• Educate staff on infection control practices and protocols, and provide ongoing training and feedback
• Collaborate with the facility's infection control team to develop and implement effective infection control measures
• Monitor and report infection rates, and work with the quality improvement team to develop and implement interventions to reduce infections
• Participate in facility-wide initiatives to improve patient safety and satisfaction

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Prior experience in infection control or a related field
• Strong knowledge of infection control practices and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
