FR Infection Control Nurse (RN)

About the role
Develop, implement, and oversee infection prevention and control programs. Monitor and analyze infection data to identify trends and implement corrective actions. Conduct training and educational programs for healthcare staff on infection prevention best practices. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal infection control regulations and guidelines. Investigate infection outbreaks and recommend appropriate interventions. Collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain infection control policies and procedures. Provide guidance and support on infection control measures, including hand hygiene, PPE usage, and sterilization techniques. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license.
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in infection prevention and control or related nursing role.
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards and regulatory requirements (CDC, OSHA, WHO, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to educate and train staff effectively.
