About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process
• Coordinate individualized care
• Foster relationship-based partnerships with patients and families
• Ensure adherence to clinical standards and policies
• Promote teamwork through effective communication
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice
• Support professional development as a preceptor or mentor
• Contribute to protocols, resource management, and quality outcomes to enhance patient safety and care efficiency

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care
• Associate or bachelor’s nursing degree
• Valid licensure as a registered nurse
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (all certifications required upon hire)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
• Proficiency in clinical technology
• Commitment to evidence-based practice
• Adherence to professional, legal, and organizational standards
