About the role
The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in a clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans using evidence-based practices, and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ensure safe, quality care through the nursing process and clinical standards.
- Foster teamwork, interdisciplinary communication, and documentation to promote a respectful environment.
- Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Support professional development by mentoring and maintaining required competencies.
- Contribute to protocol development and efficient resource utilization.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience, RN license (single state or multi-state), and certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Must have strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and technical skills, with the ability to adapt in fast-paced settings and respond to emergencies.
