RN III - ICU - Full-Time Nights

About the Role

The ICU Registered Nurse provides safe, competent nursing care in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. This role involves leading and supporting healthcare teams, assessing patients' psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs, and implementing individualized care plans. The nurse coordinates interdisciplinary care, develops treatment and discharge plans, and conducts purposeful hourly rounds to enhance communication, safety, and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient and family needs across psychosocial and cultural domains
• Constructing and executing comprehensive care plans
• Coordinating interdisciplinary treatment strategies
• Performing hourly rounds to improve safety and anticipate needs

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Current NV nursing license
• ACLS & BLS certifications
• Preferred: 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time acute care experience
• Handle with Care certification or willingness to obtain within six months
