RN ICU - Part Time

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry for per diem hospital assignments in Halifax, VA. Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in an acute-care hospital setting.Assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments.Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as per physician orders.Monitor cardiac rhythms and operate specialized equipment.Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.Display professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Qualifications & Skills Active Virginia RN license.At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years.Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months).COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.Additional credentials may be required based on specific assignments.
