Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU - Part Time

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process to meet patient, family, and multidisciplinary team needs through effective communication, coordination, and evaluation. Ensure compliance with policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited institution within six months of hire, with graduation before the third employment anniversary.
• BSN/MSN graduates preferred.
• Exemptions for certain hires based on previous employment dates.
• Medical-surgical experience preferred; one to two years of specialty clinical experience required for per diem roles.

Requirements

Certifications and Licensure:

• Active licensure with the State Board of Nursing.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• Critical Care and Dysrhythmia courses within specified timeframes.
• Specialty certification preferred.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Ability to lift less than 20 lbs frequently; occasional lifting over 50 lbs.
• Standing, sitting, reaching, walking, and talking frequently; climbing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting over 50 lbs occasionally.
• Exposure to varied temperatures, patient environments, and cleaning agents, with noise and other factors as specified.
