About the role
Per diem hospital care position in Halifax, VA, for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, safe care in an acute-care setting
- Assess and monitor patients
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor cardiac rhythms
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate records
- Follow safety and infection-control protocols
- Educate patients and families
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption is required
