RN ICU - Part Time

Position Overview

This role is for experienced Registered Nurses (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry in a hospital setting. The position offers per diem shifts with flexible scheduling options, including day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality acute-care nursing care
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and operate specialized equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and physicians
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families about treatments and discharges
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
• Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic environment

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license
• At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
