The RN applies the caring processes of the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care, with a focus on patient and family comfort, education, and satisfaction. You will apply your educational and professional experiences in delivering quality care and mentoring or precepting staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective patient and family-centered care.
- Assist in maintaining a financially stable unit.
- Promote personal development through evidence-based practice and education within a Practice Governance framework.
- Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff members.
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans using the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care.
- Focus on patient and family comfort, education, and satisfaction.
- Deliver quality care and mentor/precept staff.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana (IN).
- No experience required for full-time or part-time positions.
- If applying for PRN (as-needed) positions, one year of RN/LPN experience in an inpatient, acute-care setting is required.
