RN - Home Infusion Patient Teach/Liaison Nurse
About the role
Serves Spokane and surrounding area and Northern Idaho. Provides direct nursing services and case management related to infusion therapy for patients in the home, clinic or an alternate living site. Functions as a professional role model by demonstrating competency in all phases of the nursing process, collaborating with other health care workers to promote quality patient care, and acting as a resource for home care nursing staff for patients with infusion home care needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the patient and/or caregiver, the physician, other health care providers and the payer to provide direct nursing services and case management related to infusion therapy.
- Supports patients undergoing infusion treatments, addressing their needs related to infections, nutrition, pain management, and chronic conditions.
- Functions as a professional role model by demonstrating competency in all phases of the nursing process, collaborating with other health care workers to promote quality patient care, and acting as a resource for home care nursing staff for patients with infusion home care needs.
Requirements
- Education sufficient for licensure.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- Idaho Registered Nurse License upon hire - if practicing in this location.
- Driving is a necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
- One year of experience in acute care nursing.
Qualifications
- Home health or home infusion experience preferred.
- Prior sales experience preferred.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of infusion therapy and its administration.

Pay
$42.09 - $65.35 per hour
