RN - Home Infusion Nurse

Role Overview

The Infusion RN provides direct nursing care and case management for patients receiving infusion therapy in home, clinic, or alternative settings. Collaborating with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and payers, the nurse ensures quality patient care through all nursing process phases and acts as a resource for home care staff. The role supports patients with infusion treatments related to infections, nutrition, pain management, cancer, or chronic conditions, aiming to improve comfort and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate infusion therapy and case management services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and patients to promote optimal care.
• Act as a professional role model and resource for nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse with required state licenses.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• At least 1 year of experience in acute care nursing.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance, with willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in home health or home infusion services.
• Prior sales experience is a plus.
