Job Summary The Head Nurse oversees patient care, staff management, and daily operations within a specific nursing unit. They utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, quality care that respects patient autonomy, dignity, and rights. The role involves providing clinical leadership, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring continuity of care in alignment with hospital policies and goals. Key Responsibilities Interpret, review, and integrate diagnostic data related to patient conditions.Partner with leadership to identify improvement opportunities and implement change.Guide staff during life-threatening situations and evaluate intervention outcomes.Innovate and optimize work processes to enhance patient outcomes.Participate in clinical leadership activities such as coaching, staffing, and performance evaluations.Support healthcare delivery improvements and collaborate on patient care.Promote ongoing professional development and complete assigned duties. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting or specialty area.RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferred.Computer literacy required; additional skills in leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making.
