Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and provide education.
- Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to age and population-specific standards.
- Serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks appropriately, and ensuring safe resident care.
- Support staff to maintain high standards of care and resolve care-related concerns.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Current unencumbered RN license with the state or multistate licensure if applicable.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required competencies and certifications.
- Knowledge of nursing standards, ethical practice, and effective communication skills.
