About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care in a long-term care setting, utilizing the full nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role emphasizes professional conduct, ethical standards, and ongoing competency development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care
• Coordinating resident assessments, education, and various nursing interventions
• Serving as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel
• Ensuring safe and reliable resident care within the scope of practice outlined by state regulations and professional standards
• Providing care across all phases of health management
• Coordinating interdisciplinary care
• Supporting residents’ health and well‑being

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Preference for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree
• Current, unencumbered RN license required
• Multistate licensure preferred for NLC states
