About the role
Provide exceptional patient care using the nursing process as an Operating Room RN – First Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care with other departments
- Ensure patient rights and confidentiality
- Lead and evaluate caregiving staff
- Uphold Mercy’s mission, values, and standards
Requirements
- Current RN license or permit in Missouri
- Minimum of 2 years intraoperative experience as scrub and circulating nurse (3+ years preferred)
- BLS/ACLS certification within 1 year of hire
- CNOR & RN-First Assistant certification within 1 year of hire (CNOR, CRNFA preferred)
- BSN preferred
