About the Role
Join Baylor Scott & White - Lake Pointe Rowlett as a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, a Level 3 trauma center, Chest Pain accredited center, and stroke receiving center. The unit averages 100 patients per day and handles around 20-30 EMS ambulances daily. Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5. The department has 20 beds and operates on full-time night shifts.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective patient care.
- Adhere to evidence-based practices and contribute to a culture of innovation and safety.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire.
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire.
