About the role
Join Baylor Scott & White - Lake Pointe Rowlett as a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, a Level 3 trauma center, Chest Pain accredited center, and stroke receiving center. The unit averages 100 patients per day and handles around 20-30 EMS ambulances daily. Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5. The department has 20 beds and operates on full-time night shifts.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of true, recent Emergency Department RN experience.

The facility serves Rowlett, Forney, Wylie, and surrounding communities with a large footprint of outpatient services, including physical medicine, wound care, sleep center, imaging, and two free-standing Emergency Departments.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- RN license
- 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire/transfer
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification or obtain within 18 months of hire/transfer
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification or obtain within 18 months of hire/transfer
