RN Educator - Interventional Radiology

About the Role

Support professional development, enhance nursing practice, and ensure high-quality patient care in the Interventional Radiology department.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education.
• Serve as a clinical resource through mentoring, bedside coaching, and promoting evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify educational needs and improve quality and safety.
• Design and deliver training programs and competencies.
• Maintain clinical expertise by providing direct patient care.

Requirements

• Illinois RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years recent experience in Interventional Radiology or similar procedures.
• Previous education or staff development experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
• Specialty certification or willingness to obtain within one year.
