RN Educator - Interventional Radiology

Role: Clinical Nurse Educator in Interventional Radiology Responsibilities Lead nurse orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education within the Interventional Radiology department.Mentor staff, provide bedside coaching, and support evidence-based nursing practices.Collaborate with leadership to identify educational needs, develop competencies, and enhance quality and safety outcomes.Design and deliver educational programs, skills training, and competency assessments.Maintain clinical expertise through direct patient care and promote nursing excellence. Qualifications & Skills Current Illinois RN license with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's preferred.3-5 years of recent procedural nursing experience (e.g., Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab).Previous experience in education, precepting, or staff development preferred.BLS and ACLS certifications are required.Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills.Experience with electronic medical records such as Epic is preferred.Willingness to obtain specialty certification within one year if not already certified.
