About the role

Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC), part of Baylor Scott & White Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in the Emergency Department (ED).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to high acuity patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in ongoing learning and professional development through participation in unit-based councils and access to over 4,000 hours of online continuing education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe passage and quality outcomes for patients.
• Adhere to the highest standards of patient care, including maintaining a trauma level I facility status and managing patient ratios of 4:1.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of ED experience preferred.
