What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers)
- Lead Resident Wellness
- Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate all clinical and wellness services provided in the community.
- Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and medication management to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Champion a proactive approach to resident care that supports independence, dignity, and quality of life.
- Inspire & Develop a Strong Team
- Hire, train, and mentor wellness staff including nurses and caregivers.
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
- Lead with empathy, encouraging continued learning and professional development.
- Ensure Clinical Compliance
- Maintain readiness for regulatory surveys and uphold compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Monitor clinical documentation, incident reports, and follow up on care-related issues.
- Partner with pharmacy consultants, physicians, and external agencies to support resident needs.
- Collaborate For Holistic Care
- Work closely with the Executive Director and department leaders to align clinical services with community goals.
- Participate in care conferences, family meetings, and community activities.
- Help create an environment where wellness is woven into every aspect of daily life.
- Support Residents & Families
- Be a resource, advocate, and point of contact for residents and their loved ones.
- Promote programs and initiatives that address the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents.
What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Clinical Expertise)
- Education & Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current RN license in the state of employment.
- CPR certification and knowledge of best practices in infection control and senior wellness.
- Experience & Leadership
- At least 2 years of nursing leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or memory care preferred.
- Skilled in team management, training, and performance improvement.
- Skills & Competencies
- Working knowledge of state healthcare regulations and wellness program development.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to compassionate, person-centered care.
