RN - Diagnostic Imaging - Per Diem

Position: Registered Nurse - Diagnostic Imaging Location: Elmhurst Hospital Role: Provides professional nursing care to patients under general supervision, following physician treatment plans. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, delivering treatments, monitoring progress, documenting observations, and reporting reactions. Assists physicians with procedures and exams, develops or contributes to treatment plans, and ensures excellent patient service by explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher required; Critical Care experience preferredCurrent Illinois RN licensureAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificationStrong analytical and communication skills for problem-solving and effective interactionAbility to stand, walk, lift over 20 pounds, and position patients as neededProficient in data analysis, documentation, and specimen or image examination Key Duties: Deliver patient care, assist with procedures, develop treatment plans, and promote patient trust and comfort.
