About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all ages, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They ensure adherence to organizational policies, maintain practice standards, coordinate patient care activities among staff, and deliver quality nursing services while demonstrating professional growth and accountability.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate license
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area, such as:
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification
  • Other specialty-specific certifications
• Preferred certifications include Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) and specialty-specific training

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; new graduates are eligible
• Hospital experience preferred
