About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. They adhere to organizational policies, demonstrate professional growth, ensure high standards of practice, and coordinate patient care activities among staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care.
• Maintain practice standards in accordance with organizational policies.
• Support team coordination and collaboration.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Open to new graduates; hospital experience preferred, especially for PRN roles.
• Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
• Specialty certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) required based on clinical area, with some certifications needed within specific timeframes.
• Additional certifications (e.g., Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, Dialysis, NICU NRP) may be required depending on the specialty area.
