About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. They operate within organizational policies, maintain professional standards, and coordinate care activities among staff to ensure quality nursing services.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Georgia or multistate license
• BCLS certification required
• Additional specialty certifications may be required depending on the unit, such as ACLS, PALS, or chemotherapy certification
• New graduates are eligible; experienced hospital nurses preferred
