RN - Critical Care - Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and gathers health data involving patient, family, and healthcare team.
• Coordinates and ensures safe, timely, and appropriate care plans and interventions.
• Communicates effectively in person, on the phone, and in writing with patients, families, and staff.
• Provides individualized patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
• Maintains current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a critical care setting during night shifts.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Engage in continuous professional development and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
