RN - Critical Care - Night Shift

Role Overview

Provides critical care nursing in a part-time capacity, focusing on patient assessment, care coordination, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and gather health data involving patients and families.
• Coordinate and individualize patient care plans to ensure safe and appropriate interventions.
• Communicate clearly in person, via phone, and in writing with all stakeholders.
• Deliver tailored patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain current nursing practice knowledge.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license and CPR certification.

Pay & Schedule

• Night shifts, every other weekend.
