RN - Critical Care - Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and gathers health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Coordinates patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, effective, and timely.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and colleagues in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Provides individualized education to patients and families based on thorough assessments.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
• Maintains current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Key Duties

• Deliver patient-centered, safe, and timely critical care during night shifts.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality care.
• Engage in professional development and quality improvement activities.
