About the role
Develop and evaluate individualized care plans, assess patient health data, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Provide education tailored to patient needs, support professional development of colleagues, and foster a compassionate environment. Assist with procedures such as injections, venipuncture, and IV management. Participate in performance improvement and research activities, and ensure compliance with HIPAA. May perform wound/ostomy care and assist with patient transport as needed.
Requirements
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Active Illinois RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- At least 1 year of inpatient nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- ICU or ER experience
- Wound/ostomy certification
- Specialized nursing experience
