RN - Critical Care Unit - Night Shift

About the Role

Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac telemetry patients in a Step Down Unit, monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and ensuring patient safety. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality care and promote positive patient outcomes.

Schedule

Nights, 7:00pm–7:30am, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care
• Monitor cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications
• Document clinical information accurately

Requirements

• 1+ years’ RN experience in an inpatient setting
• Current Illinois RN license
• CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications within one year of hire

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing preferred
• Associate Degree in Nursing required, with a plan to obtain a Bachelor’s within five years if applicable
