RN Clinic Manager, Advanced Care Primary Care
About the role
This position provides overall direction and management of care delivery and support operations at assigned location(s) in partnership with the Chief of Professional Services and department leaders.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
- Evaluate performance and provide feedback for direct reports.
- Ensure compliance to organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain community relationships.
- Recruit, retain, manage, develop, and train supervisory staff and employees.
- Partner with HR, Nursing leadership, and physicians to support learning opportunities.
- Build a culture of collaboration and trust throughout the clinic.
- Monitor financial performance, identify and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve quality of care/service.
- Manage patient satisfaction and employee involvement.
- Manage outcomes for any complaints or concerns with members and patients; use prescribed methods of service recovery; provide follow-up after resolution.
- Plan, develop, and monitor the budget for their area of responsibility.
- Use data to guide and direct clinic operations.
- Implement best practice, quality improvement initiatives, and prepared practice teams.
- Lead local improvement efforts to improve systems and patient care results.
- Manage outcomes for any complaints or concerns with members and patients; use prescribed methods of service recovery; provide follow-up after resolution.
- Stewardship: Manage patient satisfaction and employee involvement.
- Actively works to meet group practice building goals set by HPMG Leadership.
- Help guide team members careers.

Requirements
- Four-year college degree; BS or BA in a health related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of clinic or health care setting supervisory experience.
- Current RN licensure in Minnesota and Wisconsin within two months of hire.
- Demonstrated understanding of local and national health care markets.
- Demonstrated skills in budget forecasting, development, and monitoring.
- Previous experience in team building, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and mentorship.
- Demonstrated record in customer service and building provider relationships.
- Ability to work from both a position of authority and a position of influence.
- Ability to motivate, involve, and engage highly diverse constituent groups.
- Understanding of reimbursement and regulatory practices.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of operations within a unionized workplace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to understand and manage resources and meet budget requirements.
Qualifications
