RN - Cardiac Stepdown - Full-Time, Days

This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac Stepdown care, with a weekend work schedule (Friday–Sunday) and full-time hours. The nurse utilizes the nursing process and Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework to provide patient-centered care, ensuring patient rights, confidentiality, and professional accountability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with other departments
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided
• Maintain high standards of nursing practice

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN licensure in Missouri or equivalent compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Prior hospital experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Additional certifications relevant to Cardiac Stepdown care
