About the role

Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by others. Coordinate patient care with other departments, uphold patient rights, and maintain confidentiality. Perform duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a specialized unit focused on adult Cardiac patients, including telemetry monitoring, post-angiography, and medication management.
  • Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and manage cardiac-specific interventions such as pacemaker care and medication drips.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and patient safety.
  • Maintain documentation and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience, with current LPN licensure and compliance with state requirements.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients, with capacity to handle up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic Life Support certification; IV certification preferred.
  • Open to both new and experienced LPNs.
