Registered Nurse - Cardiac Intermediate

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized care in the Cardiac Stepdown unit, focusing on telemetry-monitored, post-operative cardiothoracic, and structural heart patients. They collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and compassionate communication. The RN manages complex medical equipment such as a-lines, BIPAP, trachs, pacemakers, drains, chest tubes, and medication drips, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Establish personalized relationships with patients and support systems.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members.
• Manage medical devices and administer treatments per policies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to handle complex medical equipment and procedures.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and compassionate care skills.
